The nearest airport to Kalkan is Dalaman, it takes around about an hour and a half from the airport to Kalkan via taxi or a minibus, transport costs are quite reasonable in Turkey and can easily be arranged either by yourselves at the airport or by us prior to travel. Please remember you will require a visitors Visa to enter into Turkey, this consists of paying £10 per person at passport control and they will then insert a sticker into your passport and then stamp it. Please note each person must physically give to passport control a ten pound note.

Dalamans new airport was completed in August 2006. It is 3 times bigger than the old terminal and can handle 10 million visitors a year. It is bright, airy and architecturally very interesting and a pleasant entry point into Turkey. The shopping centre within the building covers some 5,000 square metres and has the concept of a Grand Bazaar, with unique and authentic products of Turkey as well as the usual duty free shops and food outlets. Access out of the airport and to the main trunk routes is quick and easy.

Flights to Dalaman are plentiful in supply, but it pays to book your flights early as a rule of thumb, please find below a list of airlines you may wish to consider booking with.

Antalya Airport
Antalya, to the east is a 3 hour transfer to Kalkan and a less practical proposition, however, in the winter there may be a wider availability of flights from the UK.
