We would recommend exchanging currency locally rathen than in the UK, you will find a better exchange rate locally within the town of Kalkan's many Banks and Post Offices.

Guide Book
We have produced a guide book to Kalkan and the various nearby attractions and recommended places to visit, so please do not be concerned you will arrive at Villa Breeze and will have no representative to guide you around. We have tried to think of all the small important things that will make your holiday a memorable one. You will find this book at the villa so please feel free to browse through at your leisure. We also have a good friend of ours who manages our villa for us his name is Albay. He owns and runs a local restaurant in town called "Breeze" and he is available via the villa mobile if you need help, guidance or if you would just like to arrange excursions, just to reassure you his English is excellent and so don't be concerned about communication issues.

Villa Mobile Phone
With regards to the above mentioned villa mobile this is available for local calls only and works on a top up card please feel free to us this phone to order take away food or pre-book restaurants or excursions or as stated above, if you wish to make call to the UK we would recommend using local phone shops or Post Offices you will these a very cheap alternative to using your own mobile.

Car Hire & Taxis
We would recommend hiring a car whilst you stay at our villa, the cost of hiring a small family sized car is very reasonable at approximately £20 per day including insurance, our villa manager can arrange for a car to be delivered to the villa on your arrival, we found this a cheaper alternative compared to hiring a car from the airport and it makes getting about much easier, or alternatively you could use the local taxis they again are reasonable and they are plentiful in town.

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance for your families visit to Turkey. You may find your family are already covered under your household insurance, but please confirm this with your insurance company before travelling.

Smoking
Please note smoking is not permitted inside our villa. This is in consideration for our future guests, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors have been installed for your protection.
